How long to complete a piece? Some artists will say it takes so many years, meaning of course that it’s the accumulated years of experience and playing around with ideas that all contributes to a single work. The actual hours spent on the work? That varies, but because of the method I use, it can take some 20 hours, with long hours between each 2-3 hr session literally waiting for paint to dry. A bit like watching grass grow!
